The Islamic Society of North America has served the Muslims of this continent for well over forty years. During this period ISNA has provided many invaluable services to the Muslim community of North America. Most manifest of course, is the ISNA Annual Convention, which, since its very inception has been a meeting place of people and ideas. In addition to building bridges of understanding and cooperation within the diversity that is Islam in America, ISNA is now playing a pivotal role in extending those bridges to include all people of faith within North America.

MCG’s service section is divided into following five different sub-sections.
Hadith:
This section contains all the ahadith related to foods from Sahee Bukhari, Sahee Muslim and Sahee Tirmizi, ahadith mentioned in the Ibn Khaseer Tafseer and other Tafaseer.
Fiqah & Science:
Scientific facts are discussed in relation to Halal/Not Halal status of food ingredients and food products. Fatawas regarding the foods are also discussed on basis of scientific facts.
Questions and Answers:
Questions asked by Muslim consumers regarding the Halal status of foods and their answers are published in this section. The e-mail addresses of Muslim consumer are not published to protect their privacy. The questions will not be published if consumers request not to publish their questions. The questions will be answered by our senior food scientist with many years of food industry experience.
The purpose of this section is to help gain knowledge about Halal foods and answer any concern or issues consumer would like to resolve in their day to day life. This section will provide ability for consumers to learn from other consumer’s thoughts or questions.These are the common questions always in the mind of Muslim consumers about food ingredients and food products and their Halal status.
